hi people my rangie has finally become an uneconomical repair from a bodywork point of view but the engine gearbox and chassis is sound so i have decided to turn her into an offroad buggy a traker to be precise so anybody out there who has removed a rangie body your imput would be grately  appreciated i have to leave the bulkhead and possibly the floorpan in situ me and my bro can do most things mech between us but this needs some advice      cheers paul :lol:

how rot is the floor
cos they go quite bad under the seat mounts and bulkhead mounts
all you need it a 7"grinder and a hammer and chisel to cut the body down
but look first to see there is no pipes or wires in the way

Unbolt the exterior panels first and sell them/weigh them in.  The roof can fetch up to £35 in the right places.

Cut the body away in manageable chunks, starting at the back I'd guess.  Don't chisel it if you need to keep peices, use a grinder or if you can find such a museum peice as a hacksaw (remember those guys?).
