A very strange request.
« on: September 15, 2006, 22:44:44 »
I have been invited to a mates 21st birthday party in November, so ages away yet.

It is a fancy dress party and the theme is childrens tv characters. Sounds easy. Yeah right

I want to do something a bit different as I guesss most people will go as bob the builder or postman pat as they are easy. I dont do easy costumes. Either I put effort in or dont do it all!

So I have 2 options.

1. Someone comes up with a clever idea on who I could be. Only limitations is I need to be able to drive in it so no Tellytubbies!!

2. I go with my idea. Tigger from winnie the pooh! Heres where I need help. Anyone know of where I can get some orange fleecy material to attempt to make my own costume or anyone fancy making it for me

any help would be most grateful.

Cheers to all in advance.

I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

:D Sportacus/Lazy Town, the campest kids programme on television!  My daughter loves it.  Why don't you go as the Wizard from Puddle Lane (circa mid 1980's), the Wizard was played by Neil McInnes from the Bonzo Dog Doodah Band (don't ask!), I had a bit of a crush on him at the time, I was a strange child, ok I was 18 , nearly a child.  And, by the way, I am a professional seamstress/costumier so if you need any sewing advice..............
