La Supertrux Bumpers
« on: September 18, 2006, 22:27:18 »
Hi got a mate with a Vitara who just ordered a winch bumper from La supertrux. After a bit of help, as we cant work out ho to fit it, has anyone fitted one and do you have any pictures ?

Have to say Supertrux have been crap with their service. Took 7 working days to come - even tho they said they had some on the shelf, then they forgot to send another part of the bumper, and all the time he's politely phoning up and chasing them and they fob him off with lame arsed excuses !!

He's not best pleased so far !

Hope you can help

B

Nope ! Its got an angled bracket that is welded across the front of the chassis rails, then the bumper is either bolt or welded to it. Its on now and it all became clear as it was fitted, looks really cool and the winch will be wired up tomorrow.

He should be going the Whaddon on the 15th if anyone wants a closer look.  8)

I'll see if i can get some pics sorted tomorrow

I just thought I'd mention that I ordered a Calmini Avil axle for my Vit on May 17th this year, from LA Supertrux and I'm still waiting :(mad):

Every time I call to see where it is they tell me "it's on it's way, it'll be about 2 weeks"

I have since discovered that this "2 weeks" is a stock response!!!

Very poor service considering me and a mate have spent over £4000 with them this year!!!

I realise this is slightly "off topic" - sorry - but just wanted to warn anyone else thinking of ordering from them. :)  Be very patient :) or go somewhere else :)
