Hi all

just had the rear box fall off my 3.9 classic, can anyone tell me if the pipe joins over the axle near the middle of the car?

and where is the best place to get one from

If it's anything like our 3.5 then the rear section joins into the rear of the center silencer. Ours has the single pipe through to the back box and then exits as a twin.

If you're just looking for the standard rear section then somewhere like Paddocks would be a start and they are about £40 for the rear section.  :wink:

martin it looks like it joins somewhere near the centre box,i will give paddocks a ring

when mine got a hole in I removed just the box and sleeved it with a straight pipe out the back

The twin pipes were only fitted to 3.5 carb models, 3.5 EFi had a single pipe and 3.9 EFi had a bigger single pipe, plus a different rouoting anround the gearbox crossmember, which is different.
