In what respect???
Doesn't it have a pod in the centre of the dash above the rear-wiper/cigarette lighter??

Nope - cant even see holes where one was fitted previous.. always thought they fitted there, but have also seen them fitted towards the fuse box..
looks like a trp to halfrauds to see if they have a 'pod'

Halfords do sell them but it will look poo. Get a genuine one, they are made to fit properly and are in the proper grey plastic. They only cost about £12.
It's fitting the speakers thats the awkward bit. It's a case of wherever you can find to stick them :D

If you just want a basic black stereo pod, I've got one you can have...

For a neater install, your better off getting a genuine Land Rover grey plastic one... slightly harder to install... but nothing major!!

Then you've just got to decide where to fit the speakers!!!
Not forgetting that if you cut the dash to fit them in the 'factory' position, you will need a spacer (unless you've got very small speakers) as the speaker will foul on the wiper motor (to match, you really want a spacer on the drivers side too....)

If you want any help give me a pm.... have fitted quite a few stereo's to Land Rovers now....

I bet you won't be able to hear them properly. There is not enough room to fit anything decent as they have to be really shallow to fit in the genuine pods. Also they point away from you, and small speakers which are better at higher frequencies are more directional than big low frequency speakers.

Or you could run aftermarket spacers.... I run 6 1/2" speakers (I think) which are the biggest you can fit - mine just overhand the gap between the dash section that covers the wiper motor and the main dash.

They are decent quality Kenwood ones, and the sound is good enough!!!

Heres mine. It doesnt look like the Bridge of the Starship Enterprise. But i have music, and its fairly loud. I also have Range Rover seats fitted, so a full size cubby box doesnt fit.

I think there is a guy on ebay, who does the boxes with the wholes cut out for the speakers.
