went to london today for a hospital appointment
went via blackwall tunnel found out you need a 4x4 in london to cope with the flooding at the exit to the tunnel as the puddle was about 8" deep (so up your ken you do need a 4x4 in london ) also had to do a 15 mile detour to miss the congestion charge so at least half a gallon extra fuel wasted so where is the sence in that thought the congestion charge was to save fuel ect
saw a disco on the m23 highway agency vehicle with no spare wheel on the back door so what do they do if they get a punctuer sit and wait for a recovery and i thought they were there to keep the road clear
also encounterd loads of middle lane huggers on the was up and back all sitting just below 70 so i had to then go from the inside lane all the way to the out side and back again only to have them speed up and pass me and then slowdown again so the prosses is repeted again what a load of to**ers
the wife said go hug a tree instead of the middle lane what a good sticker that would make for the back of the disco
i used to live and work in south london and travel through the centre in my younger days but all the short cuts are blocked off now so all the traffic has to stay on main routes what a load of congestion that makes so glad i dont have to go there very much
