Orrid day
« on: September 22, 2004, 10:05:33 »
Well, warning lights on during the day but used to that so ignored them, then driving home damn thing died on me. Popped the bonnet to discover a deceased fan belt, rigged up a temporary belt but the two people that stopped to help had weedy cars with not enough juice to jump my battery... got the recovery people out and nursed the rangie back to there base and paid them £15 for a new belt.. finally got home at about 9.45 (left work for a 20 min drive at 7

Got down out to it this morning and found a flat front tyre  :?  seems i picked up a screw through the sidewall at the services base. Ah well, guess there are some warning lights it's best not to ignore, least it did not happen on sunday while I was out Laning.
