LT95 4 speed box rebuild

a serious days offroading has finally broke my gearbox.
it jumped out of high range before, so a bungy strap used to hold it in.
but now if i put my foot down it jumps violently.
so i have decided to buy another box and rebuild it.
so my question to you guys is, where do i find info on rebuilding , ie preloads and torque settings, and where would be the best place to buy the bits from, is there a rebuild kit?

for what they cost you might as well keep buying them and trying them instead of rebuilding...LT95's can be had for under 20 quid on ebay if you look around

twenty quid :shock:
i might buy two.
iam told that jumping out of high range is a common problem when they get worn, would it be wise rebuild what ever part is responsible for that fault before installing the next one?

i once managed to bag one for 99p...was a runner as well just before it was removed!!

i suppose you could rebuild that part...although the one in our 23yr old 110 is original as far as i know...to solve it jumping out just use it between low and hi more often...solved the problem on my 4spd auto rangie as well!

If you do decide it would make more sense to do it on a spare in case you completely balls it up or it just takes longer than planned.
