Broken Number Plate
« on: September 23, 2004, 18:51:58 »
I was out last weekend and broke my front number plate. Its a standard plastic one on the bumper in the standard place.

Whats the best replacement? If plastic how do I protect it? or where is a better place to mount it?

Have thought about adhesive one but cant find on e and its not stricktly legal (some get away with it)

Or inside in front of the instrument panal.

Help..

does the front of the vehicle in the middle protrude more than the rest (ie where the plate is currently)

then why not mount it on one side of the bumper..

then again without seeing what the front end of your car looks like its hard to advise.

you could make up a mesh or something to protect it

then again buy a new plate, then sticky pad it to the bumper or something then when you are offroading

remove the plate

Mine sits on one side of the winch bumper and is stuck there with silicon.
It hasn't moved yet and it's been through the wars.
