How do you remove stickers from car bodywork???

(without trashing the paintwork)

warm them up with a hair drier or hot water and peel them off then clean any glue with white spirit

100% correct, unless you are really unlucky & the glue is hard to shift but then you can get some  ''tar & glue remover''   from a paint factor,

tried removing fire service strip from my bus got the tape off but never did get the glue off had to soak it with white spirite and roll it with my thumb only took 2 yrs till i gave up and redid the strip with fablon

You dont wanna know what it took to get rabbit's sticker's off. took a lot of patience as the vynyl had crazed so had to be flaked off.

If you know anyone who works at a car body shop ask if they use either
Kent Industry's ACRYSOL or SPEEDY 500
or
Worth ACRYLIC SOLVENT (can't remember the exact name)

Both products dissolve the glue.

hiardryer 1st then use wd40 too remove residue m8, u need the dryer too soften the vinyl b4 you can remove it

boil a kettle of water and pour over stickers
and peel off stickers b4 they cool down
ive dont this many times on vans that have had stickers on for years
and they come straight off
you will be there allday with a hairdryer

I used to use a hot jet wash to remove the sticker then tar and glue to finish the job.
It will remove flakey paint though.
Best method is a heat gun and a lot of patience.
Then a lot of tar and glue remover.
Tar and glue remover is avalible from Halfords and most leading brand retailers
