I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

There is, floating about somepace here, a Plymouth Fury done up identical to Christine, noticed some people give it a wide berth, amazing the power of the storyteller :)

That's very, very close.  Loose the towbar.  IIRC the car in the film isn't accurate to the book, but an imposing looking automobile it certainly is.

The car beleongs to one of Solent Renegades now I THINK. Just did a search for it. I have pics of it out and about someplace but just realised today that I have lost a shedload of images.

Here's my '74 Chevy Camaro 350 V8. Very fast, and very loud  :D  :D

You can hear it here: http://www.park.nildram.co.uk/camaro/start_and_idle.wmv

...and more photos/details here: http://www.park.nildram.co.uk/camaro/camaro.htm

The one that would have to wait for the lottery win would be an early '70s Plymouth 'Cuda...drooool  :)

Look better in white with the blue strips down them but silver is good.
Just think they look so nice from the front with the air intakes in the front of the bonnet and they sound so nice as well

Here, question for BTM

Where ARE the headlights on the 68 chargers (General Lee Style).

Mate in Calgary had a Camero almost identical to that and hi treated it so bad, wasnt far off being a wreck, but they dont seem to be anythigng special over there.

The '68 Charger had a vacuum operated cover. I think the earlier ones had an electric system.

I'm no fan of muscle cars but having been in Rob's car - well all I can say if you like the V8 burble you'd LOVE the sound the Camaro makes and the simple relentless accelaration is awesome.

The whole experience is amazing.
