I reckon we could very quickly make up a clamp to fit on the wheel nuts on the carrier that could do the job!

At last, a question I can answer!
I recommend the Simbars rack, I've had one for a few years which I seem to remember buying from Paddocks.

I used to use the hi-lift jack mount :)
wasnt the best in the world but the bike never fell off :)
