a week from hell
« on: October 28, 2006, 11:44:24 »
Ok the story goes like this

Last Saturday got a phone call at work from my godmother advising me that my godfather had been taken into hospital with a massive heartattack. what with it being the weekend i couldn't get out of work due to lack of cover staff on holiday and restdays.

So i end up sending SWMBO to the Milton Keynes Hospital to check on him until i can get there on the Staurday evening so i get there check on him found ouit what had happened had a go at him as you do i'm not one for sympathy must be why i enjoy St John I care   .

weekend goes by by visiting MKGH and getting ready for work as you do on sunday. :(

Monday Morning i ring SWMBO at work and she is starting to complain of lower stomach pains on the left hand side i can hear it her voice that she's in pain so after shouting and pleading with her to go either A&E or her GP.

So of she trots to see her GP and i keep tabs on her throughout the day as her GP has Signed off for the week. at 16:30 the pain has got no better a phone call to the Surgery advised to go to Luton & Dunstable A&E dept she then gets admitted at about 01:30 to the ward i had to leave the hospital at half past 12 to get home and get ready for as there is no cover available..

so to sum up so far god father in MK Hospital SWMBO is now in L&D A&E a distance of 20 miles and 1/2 drive depending on time of day.

In between all this Old Joe decideds to loose coolant and have indicator problems a quick phone call to the Garage they will sort it out for me and told don't worry about next problem the Landie is in Dunstable Garage is in Leighton Buzzard recovery time what excuse i can use. I know Head gasket  :D  i do use my brain sometimes

so this week i have covered silly amount of miles in between going to work from MK to Kempston - kempston to Luton - Luton to MK on very little sleep so me is exhausted. :(mad):

SWMBO was discharged on Friday no idea what caused the pain if the pain happens again back to square 1 see her GP back to A&E and god father we are still waiting to see whats going on.

trouble is i now a week in hospital to recover i must have lived on a mountain full of adrenalin and not much sleep and what with the forum being down.

It has been a week from hell

Dazza,

Hopefully it goes without saying that if you need anything, just ask.

Keep your chin up ;-)
