A little help understanding you lot, please.Sorry for my ignorance, but as I'm an American who has been living in Japan for several years, I've no idea what you guys are talking about when you mention certain things. Please clue me in.1. What's a SWM?? It seems to refer to a wife, but I may be missing something.2. What's a beer voucher? An actual voucher for BEER? If these are typically used in lieu of money, I'm moving to the UK (I'd like my salary in beer vouchers, please). These are good in pubs? Supermarkets? Could somebody post a photo of one?3. What's a Tomtom? As a former drummer, I'm familiar with rack toms, floor toms, even RotoToms, but I've never kept one on my dash.I'm sure you're getting a good chuckle at my expense, and I suppose I deserve it. In any case, please let me know. Thanks.
AS FOR BEER TOKENS, IT IS SIMPLY A NOTE YOU WRITE OUT YOURSELF TO EXCHANGE FOR GOODS.GO INTO ANY SHOP BUY SAY £100 STEREO, GO TO THE KIOSK AND WRITE ON A PIECE OF BLANC WHITE PAPER THIS BEER TOKEN IS TO THE VALUE OF £100. THEN YOU CAN GET ON YOUR WAY WITH YOUR NEW STEREO OR WHATEVER.EASY.
Help me change my tyre and I'll pay you with beer tokens
Beer tokens is a promise of a drink in exchange for goods or services:Quote Help me change my tyre and I'll pay you with beer tokensThis would infer, help me change my tyre and I'll provide beer, or take you out for a drink afterwards. Similarly, you can offer beer tokens to people far away, on he promise that you will get them a drink next time you meet.
