Blown the front numberplate off AGAIN. Anyone suggest any better locations than the standard spot on the front of a Vit? Gonna put a sticky one on I think but for on-road want a road plate too.
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

Wheres your Avatar gone?

I think a decent bumper would help to be fair. Hopefully this week we'll hear back from the assesors and I can get a winch bumper :)

How about something like this (spotted on Ebay)

Either on the bonnet (not sure about an MOT pass though?) or on a winch bumper?

I've been thinking about where to put mine too.

It's tie-wrapped to the top of the roll cage at the moment :)

I'll have a word with Tim but he has lots of other things on his mind right now :) I think I'll go with tne bonnet as I dont have bullbars (yet) and them get some velcro so I can have the main plate on for MOT road driving etc.

Velco will die on the front if you get it muddy.
I'd just cable tie it on for MOT's.
Drill 4 holes in the new plate and fit it in a way that the cable ties dont obstruct any part of the lettering

From a Policing point of view, If its on the front of the car and can be see, then there is no problems... However it must be seen clearly.

I heard somewhere that the stick-on ones you make up yourself (sell them on ebay) aren't legal anymore, even if they are clearly visible (eg on the front of the bumper). Does anyone know if this is true???

Stick on plates are legal, as long as they are reflective and stuck on a flat surface
