Radiator refitting
« on: October 30, 2006, 18:42:21 »
Hi guys,
I had to change the rad on my rangie today and when i fitted the new (used) rad it had the wrong oil cooler fittings. So ,ok ,i unscrewed all four and used the ones from my old rad and screwed it all back together.
But,after i had finished i had noticed that on 2 of the little plastic bungs i had used to block the oil take offs up with when removing the rad to stop oil coming out, had an o-ring on them from my old rad.So i undid them all again and i couldn't figure out which ones they had come out of.
So does anyone know where these 2 rubber o-rings go ?

cheers
andy

well thanks for all your great sujestions guys.It hasn't leaked from any of the 4 oil cooler pipes so i will just keep hold of the o-rings until it does leak, then i'll know where they need to go.
