I've only ever seen one, & was offered a ride in one by an owner, but didn't get the chance to get there (on the 'Cat & Fiddle' as well  )

I was lucky enough through work to spemd the day at Thruxton driving all the VXR range, Mariva, Astra, Zafira, Vectra and the Manaro

The small mariva was funny as you just wouldn't expect that much power from a small MPV, Zafira was good, Astra a bit too mad, perfect for some I guess, the Vectra V6 was good and probably my fav out of them all, good power at the right time.

The Manaro was just sweet, sounds awesome, looks good, goes like snot and unlike the others has no traction control and is rear wheel drive, but did find it very heavy on the clutch, brakes and accelerator, good to drive but would still prefer the Vectra and there ain't many people that would admit to that.

Thruxton has to be one of the best curcuits as well, nice and fast with a few technical corners thrown in for luck

tom ford is the chunky guys name. it is a shame that he has been such a [ed: naughty] on these two occasions as he is usually a good reporter. his articles in the mags are usually good. i think it is a case of someone trying to hard to be cool.

just my opinion though :?  :?  :?
