200 Axle onto a 300 ?
« on: November 01, 2006, 12:48:59 »
Does anyone know if there are any marked differences between axle tubes from the 200 to the 300 models?

I'd like to replace my rear axle at some point, but recently rebuilt my current one with new stub axles, hubs etc. etc. so would preferably want to swap the new bits and pieces over to the new one.

As the 200 axles seem more common and the 300 axles are still pricey second hand, can I just get hold of a 200 axle tube and rebuild it with my 300 bits, diff etc. or is there something about the 200 axle tube that would mean I'd have to run with it as it is and change the rear prop to marry up to it?

I don't think there are any noticeable differences between the 2.
