Well my funs over
« on: November 04, 2006, 17:00:33 »
Because realistically to sell my 90 it needs to be clean, i've taken the drastic step (on advice of others) to remove all off-road bits and get her spangley again.

So, off with the steering guard, diff guards, rock/tree sliders and BFG-MT's and back to stock sills and original road tyres.

Boy does she look odd!! Going to be jet washed and if nessecary steam cleaned and then off to the body shop to be polished and tarted up - i hope someone buys her soon cos i'm now toy-less and its no fun having a 4x4 i need to keep clean and sparkley.

Then why bother getting another? every time you swap motors you are putting cash into someone else's pockets and possibly buying into someone else's problem motor too.

Because using an 04 plate CSW for comps and challenges is silly, when i need an older, less valuable truck cab!

I may be able to help ther and also selling the parts if you decide to.
I know a fair few folk in the DORSET area who own 90/110 and go playing.

Bullfrog - do you know anywhere or anyone who will come and steam clean or high pressure hot wash the chassis and engine etc to make it actually look clean again as i'm finding the home jetwash and petrol station ones are crap at really shifting the dirt.

For underbody washes check with some commercial vehicle places, they have to have their wagons cleaned for the plating certificate (MOT), so they would either have the facilities or recommend one for you
