Mileometer stuck on 100k !
« on: November 05, 2006, 18:47:06 »
When the mileometer was changing from 99999 to 100000 it stopped working.  Do you think it's just a bit stuck, having never used that sixth digit?  How would I go about looking at it with a view to giving it a nudge if it's stuck?  I'm not even sure how to get to the mechanism - anyone know how? could you give me a few pointers?  Its a series 1 disco.

it will be the gear  for the 100th of a mile its only plastic and has problems turning all the digets over they strip themselves you can get a new gear but they are a bit of a pain to change is its strip the instrument panel apart. it is a common thing on early rr they did it as well
