i have a foam ITG filter on my 300TDi.

Any ideas how you clean them?

You usually buy a cleaning kit from the manufacturer i know K&N do one, though i have cleaned foam filters with hot soapy water before then re oiled them with light engine oil (not WD40 or similar) when emergency has arisen, look around as some lubricant companys now do foam filter oil.

Some people clean them in parafin but if I am not mistaken there are some which swell up..... They do return to normal size once dry tho...
