Guys, cue all sorts of responses, obviously.........
What's the difference between a three bolt and a four bolt steering box?
"one bolt" ..................... there, beat you to the first one !
Serioulsy tho...are they inter changeable, as I can get my hands on a four bolt easily, but three bolters seem like rocking horse poo second hand ....
Mine is marking it's territory so much it's just stopped working again with hopefully an air lock.......

4 bolt has metric threads & 3 bolts have imperial, i think

mountings are the same for 99% of the steering box's,its the pipes that are different,also the drop arm internal size changes on the early ones
