There might be a solvent type thingy out there, but as anything that's any use is being banned you'd better ask quick at your local DIY or plumber's merchants.  Otherwise, as siad a very sharp new knife blad in a scraper and a lot of care.

Is it enamel or acrylic?

I had to do the same a while back & bought some remover, I think it was from Wickes, good stuff, but as RRB's says, it may not still be available :(

Screwfix do a silicone remover if you have a catalogue handy and don't mind waiting a day or two......................

Plumbers mechants should stock some. I got some a few months ago I think & although it definetly helps to loosen the sealant I found I still needed a knife to remove it all.  A kitchen knife was good for this, flat bladed & not too sharp.

Sit in the bath and flick hot water onto it and pick at it. After a few weeks you will have picked it all off.

Top tip. Dont stay in the bath for a few weeks picking at it  A; the bath water will become cold B; you will end up like a prune!!!

You know what I mean

Stick your kids in the bath and tell them very sternly not to pick it off
