Stuck in Difflock

Tried finding yourself an empty carpark and reversing whilst going lock-to-lock?

reversing usually does it, I did have a rash of the lever going loose, then I had to crwal under and push the end of the linkage by hand, not much fun with mud and pooh dripping of the underside!

Have reversed and reversed and reversed.
Have jacked up the wheels one at a time to have the first, front off side spin around four about two revolutions.  None of the other wheels span when jacking them up.
Have been underneath and cant see any linkages just a round pipe.
Anybody have a picture/drawing of these linkages please :?:
I will give the revesing another go :(

It's not the grub screws on the selector fork that's come loose is it?

It's common.

As a result of Bush tucker mans help I was able to correctly identify which bit I had to "play with"
It turned out that a mud encrusted little stone had caught up under the selector. by simply rubbing the linkage, all was repaired :D  :D

Great stuff.
On mine it was the grub screws. Not too bad a job though with fat fingers and big hands I had to remove the console and rubber seal to get at it from the top. Took it out. Loctited the grub screws and hey presto.
I'd been looking at reconditioned transfer boxes and the like.

Here#s a tip though.
Next weekend, get under your Disco with some WD40 and spray that linkage.
You'll thank me one day.
