Axle breathers?
« on: November 19, 2006, 21:32:56 »
Will they really benefit me? I bought the Landy for driving arround the town and for greenlaning and off roading at Whaddon. I really am a virgin to the Landy off road scene. But i dont want to dive into the mud without being well protected.

if your not going to do alot of wading, i woulndt extend the axles breathers, just make sure the little brass vavles on the exles work properly.

and inspect the oil regually to make sure no water is getting in.

yeah probably ok just check breathers work!-but easy to fit nice new breathers and pipes if u do want to, i like having the breathers inside the cab-so you know they're fine! (and inside smells of diff oil! yummy!)
When wading though- don't forget to put in the bell housing bolt!
