« on: November 20, 2006, 12:13:18 »
A new series with the Colonel Dick (Strawbridge) of 'Scrapheap Challenge', 'Geronimo' & 'It's Not Easy Being Green' fame starts tonight @ 21:00

It's on satellite/cable
SKY 532 (I think)
NTL 208
Tele-West 225

As taken form one of the on-line TV listings guides

The Re-Inventors
Series about some of the more ingenious inventions and testing their uselfulness today. This first episode looks at Henry Trengrouse's novel idea in the 1800s.
After witnessing a terrible shipwreck and unable to help, he set about investing some of his fortune in creating the 'Breeches Buoy', a rocket propelled rescue device which is now a fixture on every single RNLI lifeboat in Britain and has saved countless lives

Duration: 60mins
[/i]

I watched the 11:00 showing whilst waiting for a delivery & it was damn good =D>

At the end, they took on the local group of HM Coastguards at Port Leven harbour to rescue a person over the harbour itself

I won't tell you who won, so you'll have to watch it to find out

Sorry, but those were the channels listed for it in the 'Daily Mails (weekly) TV guide/magazine

We've got TeleWest cable, so that channel (225) was fine
