A very good day out too. I took out the new Disco for the day. And then had the offroad bit. They had a shock when i turned up in Rigger boots, camo trousers and in the beast. :)

i found the few landrover salesmen i dealt with to far up there own arses.

Me too , I'm doing it on 20th Dec, LR Experience, near Milton Keynes. Done it there before, it's a bit tame, but it's free, so I'm going.  The only Cars that go anywhere= Hired or LRE ones. Don't know what the'll think when I turn up in my Series III with mud all over it.
Who needs brakes???

1981 Series III 88"
2.5 N/A Diesel
9.00x16 Michelin XL
Fairey PTO Winch
1 ton Shackles
Blue/Cream with a delicate shade of mud.

Thats shocking    By Brother and I some years ago drove in to a TVR dealer in a old RX7 and grubby jeans and one of his nasty Hiwian shirts
They were great nothing was too much trouble, coffee nibbles and we walked out with a new shiny TVR cimeara 4.0V8, great fun!
Couldn't have asked for better service.
If want to walk it walk it, if you want to ride it ride it just leave me alone to drive it!

the particular dealer i am on about does have a certain reputation around thisarea, they loose many sales, people just go to parkside who i understand are very down to earth, helpful people. i havent personally dealt with them but know many that have and always go back!

I'm booked in for a free half day at the Chilterns course on the 7th December.
Bring on the D3!
Kate is going to drive the whole thing.
I've already off roaded a D3
