Did anyone hear on radio 2 about the amount of ford stereo's that are being nicked for a chip thats in them for supposedly getting free sky?? One village had 15 fords broken into for the stereo's in one night??? :?  :?

place in south wales think it was and it was the ford ka's

and that figure was a lot bigger! said in a weekend theres usually 50 sterios nicked but since then one weekend saw 200!

hmmmm I have a cunning plan.

We need to spread the rumour that Vauxhall Novas and Citroen Saxos have a chip which gives free sky.  THen all the scallys and car thieves will turn to them instead of the rest of us.

OK then, how about we spread the rumour that bobble hats, when burnt produce pure gold.  Now the bobble hat brigade will be too busy dealing with thieves and leave us 4x4ers alone.

This would be the chip available from RS at about £1.10
I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.
