Nicely done that man. Go you. And yes, it is nice to know the universe isn't entirely populated with gits.

I saw a lady broken down in her mpv on a steep hill and I was going to offer to tow her to the layby up the road but wasnt sure if my rover would have been able to handle towing a mpv from a dead stop up the hill and I cant afford a new clutch at the moment and the gear box is iffy anyway. I did feel bad I couldnt stop and help.

When I am in the disco I always stop and offer to tow people if I have the time etc to a safer location. I dont know enough about mechanics to get people back on thier way though.

But well done that man. another use for a 4x4!!! Towing horse boxes!

Other night I happened upon a guy who'd driven into a ditch alongside (wait for it) the straight mile :?

Anyway, I was in the LSE so no gear, I stopped to see if he was alright but the number of muppets who had stopped in the road just to gawp and be generally useless made it unsafe to hang around and help.
