That engine wasnt the most reliable, suffering from cracked heads fairly often. The bigger engines are the better ones to have 3.3 deisel, or 4.2 petrol/deisel.
Seems a clean truck for the money though, what are you looking at doing with it anyway? They are big, and formidable off road vehicles! Once you have had one of thee you will pribably throw anything else in the bin!!
They are live front and rear axles, on a ladder chassis which is very chunky! Weigh approx 3-3.5 ton depending on model and do 35 mpg on 3.3deisel, 20 on 4.2 petrol 28 on deisel. The 2.8 petrol does around 17-20.
