Stolen 90 Notts area

Just had my Defender 90 stolen today from a busy street in Newark,it had a Toad/sterling immobiliser fitted which has turned out to be useless so as a word of warning don't rely on a immobilser only as i did, but get some heavier security as it appears the thieves can easily bypass these.

It's the one in the photo,M plate and last letters were FFE, was fitted with grey Boost alloy wheels with Goodyear tyres,Mantec steering guard,Scorpion racing detachable tow bar,Midland CB and other easily sellable goodies,i don't expect to see it again,it was a really good motor.

Hello mate, was taken from Victoria Street(Nottingham road out of town),i parked it up at around 2 this afternoon and it was gone by 4,i don't usually park it on the road but today was an exception,i'm not sure how they did it but they must have known what immobiliser it had.

Its pointless immobilising a TDI imho the thing is too basic and the immobiliser is easy to get around, use a physical deterrant like a steering wheel lock, clutch claw etc on the replacement.  It is sad to hear another one has been pinched i'd be mortified if anybody took mine.
