Well I live in Bristol, drive a Disco, and park occasionally in the centre of town. Now admittedly my vehicle is normally pretty muddy, but if i catch someone deliberatley throwing mud over it, i'm going to throw them over something!

He said a mature student. there cant be many of mature (in age)  students in Bristol surely? Its full of 18-21 year olds but I stayed at my mates uni house when I was down there and what an ace time I had in that house that night. Cant remember I smiled and laughed so much. Think I may need to visit with a freshly washed disco to get some mud thrown over the disco. cheaper than repairing props etc if they were to break off roading and saves diesel

I think it would probably end up reading in the papers as

"4x4 owners dont take green house gasses and global warming seriously and take the [throw it] at them having big pedestrian killers and poluting vehicles" If it makes us look good in any paper then I will supply a bottle up to £15 to the person who sent the article into the papers!!!! Think my £15 is safe for now!

We are going to have our 1st meeting on Tuesday 12th December at 8.30pm at the Lansdown pub ( 8 Clifton Road,Clifton,Bristol,BS8 1AF). They have a large table (seats up to 15/20 people) in a tent outside (which is heated) and I'll try and to get that - or they have a more private room upstairs. The media is not your friend if you are campaigning against environmental issues at the mo`
If this guy raises enough noise, only his side of the story will be told, he will be portrayed as a victim of abuse by environmental terrorists.

1)What sort of protestor are you?
a)a dirty, stinking, pot noodle eating type with chuff all else to do with your life.
b) a sheeplike person with no ability for free thought.
c) a tub thumping, lefty, trotskyite, commy who hates anyone who has done marginally better than you.

2) When did you last listen to someone else, without trying to ram your pre-conceived,childish, Guardian inspired thoughts down someone elses throat?

e) feel that my own personal safety is at risk.

For those who are worried about publicity it might be an opportune moment to raise the FACT that 4x4s contribute in the region of 1% of all the CO2 that is pumped into the atmosphere in the UK. And that there are many vehicles that contribute more than 4x4s.

  OK, I am up for a visit to Bristol on that weekend, anyone else care to join me? I have an LPG disco that is cleaner and Cheaper to Run than my previous car (Smart Cabrio) and I live in an area where a 4x4 is almost a must, I tow trailers a lot for my work and I own a large dog that will not go in a small hatchback.
  I think it would be good if a lot of people like me showed up, that would put a spanner in the works of thier argument.
