Hey, look on the bright side, what could be happening is..... the water tank bursts, the ceiling collapses, floods the electrics, the electrics blow up, the gas central heating won't light because it relies on electric ignition, the water laying inches thick on your carpet freezes in the cold weather, the cat leaves home along with the misses and kids, the dog leaves to live in the nice warm house next door and the plumber can't pop along till after xmas!

.... is that a dripping noise you can hear?

Merry Christmas!  :D

dont even joke about it. :x
The flat above had a builder in redoing their bathroom a couple of weeks ago. And he  put a hole through our bathroon ceiling, he put a temp repair up ( a sheet of plasterboard) and said he would repair the damage when ever I was ready for him to do the work. So told him when I was ready and haven't seen him since.

Now the repair has started to fall down and water is dripping down from their pipes. Owner have gona away as well.

so have bought a stopcock key and will be turning their mains supply off in the morning.
Cheers.

Yesterday I was following my mate in his van and he had a head on crash in the fog, then 2 hours later I learned that a very close family friend had collapsed and died whilst out buying a xmas present for his wife and then on the way home last night the radiator blew on the Vitara!.

Definately one of those days I would rather forget      .
