But the other point is that if you didnt go overdrawn then you wouldnt have an issue, the problem is now that people know they can claim them back they will deliberately not make sure money is in their accounts for stuff as they know that they might not get penalised for it and thus now its going to cause massive massive problems. There is always a downside to everything.
Jolly good, i look forward to the winge your going to make when you get charged for banking because everyone has made the banks broke by taking all their money back for charges. Yes the banks overcharged but then backdating the collections is wrong. There was a contract in place saying this would happen to you if you go overdrawn which you sign when you apply for the account so therefore i think its personally wrong that it should be backdated.
And the shyster bank I used to work for made an absolute mint every day. Not from their customers who go overdrawn but from the ones they play BIG, and by christ do I mean BIG money. You and me and the other "little" people don't make them that much money.
What nicks me off is when the bank charges are what takes you overdrawn and they charge you a second time for that happening. I just hate banks sometimes, they make all that money and then pretend to care about us.
