On the roof bars facing down or backwards so everyone can hear it but doesn't get debris in it or alternatively in a bright orange '69 Dodge Charger!

To be honest i don't know!
Do you wade at all?
I remember being younger and the local lads of the day having the dixie horns, the ones pointing down lasted the longest.
I was thinking of an Exhaust mod on mine and noticed that there's quite a bit of room down one side of the engine

Just be aware that the 'musical' types that play a tune aren't legal for on the road and won't pass the MOT.  :wink:

ahh yes very aware, as long as its wired totally separate from the usual horn its ok! Actually its just abit of fun now that I going through my mid life crisis!!!!!!!!

No, depends how old the car is, on some tax exempt cars they are legal.

Firstly, fit them on a bracket inside the bonnet above the engine.
Secondly, they are legal only if fitted to vehicles reg before 1974.

Cheers that sounds like it might work, especially over the carb side, as for legal or not it seems if its on a separate switch and marked as such then its covered?!?!?!?
