Locking diffs as standard
« on: January 07, 2007, 08:18:21 »
Hi

Can anyone tell me which 4x4 have locking rear diffs or limited slip diffs in the rear as standard from the factory? I think the G Wagen does but I'm struggling to think of any more.

Thanks

Mike

G-Wagen had both front and rear locking diffs. Well the one I repaired in Namibia did.
Some of the Jeep models have an LSD fitted to the rear as either new or optional.

bit esoteric but the pinzgauer and volvo 303 and the unimog have locking axles, I've seen a Pajero with a rear locker too.

Nearly all G wagons do, however there were a few sold without front lockers as a lower cost option.
