Day before xmas eve I went out to get a few late pressies for he grandkids . . . . that vibration I'd had for a week or so previously suddenly turned into a 'somethings gonna break' type vibration.
Ended up sorting the front prop uj's for the afternoon.
Truth known, I've done enough uj's to recognise the warning signs so I was aware what was coming . . . . . but the tiiming of it was a bit of a [!Expletive Deleted!].
Either way I'd been under the motor a few days before and giving the prop/uj's a good shake about . . . . . even though there was little evidence of free play in the bearings they failed a couple of day later . . . . :?
But hey . . . . it's a Land Rover . . . . . [!Expletive Deleted!] happens :lol:
Christmas was saved and thanks to Simon, (Simon Services, at Warmfield), for letting me shove the truck on his ramps at such short notice . . . . I was back on the road within the hour
