Thieves in Wycombe area

Just got home to find some <edit> has tried to steal 'Red  :x
Looks like rear quarter window pushed out to unlock rear door, rifled through the 'kit' inside then bent dog guard to get into front
Someone's been dead busy with a screwdriver until finding the immobiliser
They'd have chuckled even louder if they'd got so far as to find temperamental nature of the starter would have scuppered any further
Dash all torn out and wires everywhere so not going anywhere now for a while
Definitely going for the vehicle rather than opportunist contents theft
And we were all due new bushes and an MOT on Thrsday too  :(

So, please keep an eye out locally and make sure your motor is safe
And if you see anyone sus' loitering around I'd like a word...

They seem to be heading south, this spate of LR thefts was up north a few months back and if definatly working it was down the country - thieving gits.

Glad to hear they didn't manage to steal your pride and joy!

Now on a completely different and rather selfish note.........
I have recently moved down to the High Wycombe area for work. I go back up to Yorkshire and the WIFE on weekends.
If anyone in that area would fancy meeting up for a beer one evening that would be great!
it gets a bit boring being on your own every night without TV or internet
As people who know me can attest I can talk forever about offroading and my G-wagen
So if anyone would like to meet up, gimme a shout (PLEASE...............)

Thanks

Just waiting on the insurance guys now...
Bit of a shock really as so targeted at taking the vehicle  :O
Not a fan of alarms but might be having a rethink  :?

G-mod, were you the G-Wagen at the HORC 'do' at Taplow the other week?
Tasty bits o' kit those Mercs!  8)

Always time for a beer down this way  ;)
