What Spots.....?
« on: January 15, 2007, 21:07:37 »
I'm going to fit some spots to the bull bar of Turtle. (Turtle the Zuk)

The question is what ones?
I looked on eblag and there is loads, but what is good? what is crap?
I don't want to spend hundreds, just about £50-£75

I take it they must be fitted directly to the main beam?

So many questions hey... all advice welcome
If want to walk it walk it, if you want to ride it ride it just leave me alone to drive it!

My current combo of Wipac 5 1/2" and 100 watt bulbs is giving better light and spread than my dad's sportsline+'s or my old bosch 55watt lamps. They are iluminating a good 200 meters at a guess ahead of the landy. and all for 25 quid from my local landy parts man.

Wipac 4x4 will mount right to the bumper of a zook. Have the circuit diagram for a zook or seeing as I recall you are kinda local I'd do em for you if you wanted :) They will also fit the standart Zook bullbars with a quick mod to the bars.

They look big but they aint half work :)

I must confess the the activities of the UK governments for the past couple of years have been watched with frank admiration and amazement by Lord Vetinari. Outright theft as a policy had never occured to him.

Thanks for the offer Evilgoat, thats real good of you, however sadly moved to Lincs now

It looks like I'll go for the Wipac 4x4 as they seem good value and very strong.
