1990 disco three door 2.5 does it have the same gearbox as a 35 k plate disco any ideas many thanks

If reverse is in the same place, then yes.....
gone from 200tdi.... to 300tdi... still with loads done to it, in fact, even more than the last truck...LOL!!!

In theory it will be an LT77 gearbox but be careful as there were variants on that on shaft splines.

Bob696 had a bit of fun swapping gearboxes out, some more info on the differences here

Best thing to do is to get the serial numbers from the boxes in question and check from there.

they are both 200 tdi then, same boxes lt77.
they changed the boxes in 1994 with the r380 with the 300 tdi.
