looks very similar to the one on your profile which I presume is the one you sold, so have you bought it back, or did you vow never to buy another Disco when you sold the last one?

:D

Well, I think it's quite funny

I decided recently that I really needed to get a 4x4 again and started to look (at all sorts!). Then, I remembered that the chap that bought my Discovery mentioned that he might just use it for his Wales trip and look to sell afterwards - so I emailed him to see if he still had it / wanted to sell it.

No, more complicated than that! I'm having my old Discovery back and he is having my Alfa (plus a bit of cash) as a p/x against a TD5 :-s

Well spotted :)  It now has a winch, Guardian rear bumper, rock/tree sliders, snorkel ... and the gearbox/transferbox have been replaced :D

Excellent work Gords!!

You must be well chuffed??

I am really suffering without my Disco so can imagine how pleased you are.  8)

Nice mods too - saves you a bit of work!

My plan was to go 12 months without a landy and save like mad - not sure I can manage it - especially with this snow about!

suits us both really! He got the use he wanted out of it and moved on to his next vehicle without the hassle of selling. I got a car back that I know the history of with the major problem fixed (gearbox) plus extras :D

Thanks mate!

I know what you mean - it's better than what was on there before but I don't know that I would have chosen it. I'll see what it's like after I've looked at it a few times :)
