Range Rover seats into Disco commercial?
« on: January 26, 2007, 20:50:47 »
I have just bought a '93 200tdi disco commercial and it came with some range rover leather electric seats in the back ready to fit.  I have asked on the range rover forum for wiring diagrams to hook them up (here's hoping!)

I have heard that these are an easy swap into my disco, do I just need the base plates from a 4 door car?  My current seats tilt forward and bolt to the floor, does anyone have any pictures of how the 4 door disco seats mount to the floor, as I need to raise the range rover seats by a foot or so.

Thank you for any help:)

Your Rangie leather would have bolted to the top of a static box, welded to the floor (IIRC Disco is different).  SO you need to make up a box to carry the seats I guess.  Gives you plenty of scope to mount the seats exactly how you want them though.
