diff lock light
« on: February 04, 2007, 17:05:03 »
come on intermitantly.  I can understand it working or not, but it comes on sometimes and sometiems doesn't.

The diff lock is working, I checked by jacking up one side of the vehicle, off one wheel would spin, on and both would.

There doesn't seem to be a pattern to when it doesn't work.

What's the most likely cause, duff switch or does it need adjusting in some way?

could be the diff switch on its way out, or could be a bad connection on it, i would say. ours is the opposite - always on. or at least it was until the other day, when the connection simultaneously appeared and fell apart when i was tightening the prop bolts........
