Defender XS front on Epsom green
« on: February 04, 2007, 21:20:06 »
After my 90 was pranged I need a new 2 new plastic headlamp surrounds.

I started thinking about fitting a total XS style dark grey front grille...for a change.

Can anyone find or post up any pics of your 90 with the XS grille. Epsom green would be great too.

Im not even sure how much they cost!?

Fill me in or pop some pics on here please.

Thanks,

T

Like this one below....although this is called the SE. Im confused.
Ian, you mentioned the clear xs style side lights, anything else you have to match? Just trying to cheer myself up by thinking ahead to future mods!  :(  :D

Have got a set of clear indicators for the side of the wings.. but haven't got any front or rear ones... quite cheap on EBay though.

Might also be able to get an XS grill and light trims... will find out tomorrow.  Will be genuine LR, not the britpart copy stuff.

Ian
Buy me another drink - you're still ugly!

Just toying with the idea at the mo. I think I'd like your clear indicator ones.
Im going to have to fork out for a 2 new headlamp surrounds and simply toying with the idea about a change.

Might stay with the total black front. See what you can come up with and I'll try to see a few pics with the change.

LOL! Ian, could this landy look anymore like mine! :D  Even down to the roof tent model and colour.

Just missing the silly air intakes and snorkel.

I think I like it!

it might be the colour of the roof tent, alternatively it might be that I'm not quite right in the head.

you know, I think I'd rather be seen in a portapotty with a glass door than in the car underneath :D

I couldn't resist.
It's not a real car unless it's over 30 years old!
Classic cars are the ones who's owners wave to each other. I just bought a pretend car! F plate 90!
