I want to fit some auxilluary lights to my 03 Freelander there is a blank switch above the rear fog light switch this has some wires and plug fitted to the back of it, I presume it must be pre wired for lights of some kind can anybody tell me which they should be fogs or spots?

I'd be interested in this too. SWMBO'd has asked if she can have roof lights

Ours has a blanking plate in that position. Are you saying there is wiring already in place behind it? Might be useful to tap into.

Yes there are two wires to a plug which is held by the blank switch
Gently pull out the blank and you'll see them
