hi i have read somewhere that you can get power steering boxes for a series, is this true and if so where do i get one . cheers Bob

It involves quite a large amount of fabrication to fit power steering to a Series, but it is entirely possible to do.

just make sure you're tyres are pumped correctly and that helps too.....don't ask how I found out! :oops:  :oops:  :oops:  :oops:

have you looked at cpc components on web he can supply a kit , do not know whats required to fit it but it sounds good

if it doesnt tell you the price, its toooo darn expensive.

i didnt like the look of the chris perfect PAS kit, as it seemed very exposed under the front end.

I'd love to fit PAS to mine so my misses could drive it, but i havent found a neat enough solution to satisfy me.

have a search on a local scrap yard a defender one will fit with a bit of fabricating,  think also one of those mitibishi things do aswell

i was told once you only had to move the front crossmember bit on the chassis further forwards/backwards which isnt that much fabrication if you can weld and measure?

As far as I'm aware you weld crossmenber in front of the current one then remave it you can then use a Disco\rr\defender pas box

that can be done, but then you have to also fit the steering column off a defender/rangerover to make it work properly.
