Rapid Thaw...
« on: February 11, 2007, 07:40:19 »
...and overnight rain has caused some of Warks part time fords to flood the roads. Went through Kenilworth (Warks) ford last night, which is normally dry and was already 6" deep.

I went out early this morning and can confirm the rivers in Warks have risen another foot or so since last night- even Offchurch (Warks) ford should soon be over the road given the overnight rain!

Will pay a visit later on to assist the stranded motorists!

Sholud be a good day for checking out those normally dry crossings.

Happy fording!

...well there definately was a fair bit of water out there today. Picture from Offchurch (Warks). No stuck cars to pull out today though.
