My diff lock light doesn't come on...
My heater plug ligh never goes out when the key's held before starting. I just have to hold it for a few seconds

The heater light won't go out like normal cars it will stay there as long as you hold the key there
Doff lock switch could be defective for the other one, sorry not sure where that is, but guessing it's on the transfer box somewhere.

James. I know it's a 90 but which model. There could be a difference in the way the heater plug warning light works.
Diff lock light.
Pick a dry day and crawl under the right side of your 90. Just behind the front wheel.
Lie on your back and put an arm with your hand attatched up just above and in line with the front prop shaft.
Keep working back until you find the did lock warning light switch. It should have two wires attatched.
One live from the reversing light switch. The other back to the warning light.
Oh !! :roll: :roll: Yes :twisted: You have checked the warning light bulbs haven't you :shock:

take the gearstick gatier out, get a torch and look down, you can just about see the switch, make sure both wires are connected, but 1st
check the bulb :roll:
