MPVs and 4x4s are safer for drivers and passengers
A Transport Research Laboratory report shows drivers and passengers of 4x4s and MPVs are five times less likely to be killed or seriously injured than those in other types of car.   The findings contradict recent and confused press reports on 4x4 and MPV performance in collisions with crash barriers.

THis research is only following what the insurance companies statistics show.
