Iveco 6 cylinder fitted in Defender 90

Rumour is there a 6 cylinder iveco engine fitted in a defender 90 in stoke-on-trent. How hard would it be to do they rekon the power and torque is out of this world. It took over me a couple of months ago. Trust me he pulled out from behind me put his foot down and went like a rocket and i was doing 70 mph :shock:  :shock:

Yes I have seen them fitted before. There was a kit for fitting the 4 cyd 2.5 a few years ago, same kit for the 2.8 4 cyd and the 6 cyd.

I live at meir and i work at bristol street ford at fenton as a mechanic. Have not see you knocking around. I,ve sold my v8 disco couple of months ago now i,m looking for a diesel 90 or disco. Where about do you live.

It,s the white 90, jacked up and a 4 inch diammeter exhaust with the iveco lump in

every monday up there replacing the broken bits  :lol:

how much you willing to pay for a 90 or disco ? v8 or tdi 200      or 300  :roll:

i aint seen it around for a while tho this 90, but richard 300tdi powerd yellow s2a supposedly lives by the guy, but i aint seen the richard bloke yet  :roll:

and i cant find a conversion kit for the engine anyhows  :roll: , thats all id need really, the rest i would make up as and when, just trying not scratch the paint job tho  :lol:

iveco daily van

there a few engines, but i have to have the biggest ( 2.8 hpt ), they virtualy same physical size as a td5

but big on power and torque

Got the 2.8 in my Van. I was thinking would a gear boxout of a Santana do as its fitted with the Iveco 2.8.

i reckon the 2.5 VW lump out of their transporters would be a right engine conversion :D

been in a 6 wheeler car jobby with a mondao ont back ant did a ton easy aceleretion at 70 is awsome 8)

theres a series 2/3 with one in as well first saw it at cobridge lights it took some boy racers off the lights and was gone never seen anything like it. a series landrover just dosn't go that fast.....

You get the defender 90 boyracers up fezzer park. Both are jacked up one is grey and the other is dark red

but he spits his dummy out to often with me  :lol: both on tarmac and off, very funny

i aint been down for some time as the simex have been on and i cant be bothered swap over to the muds  :roll:
